Controller / HR Manager

Position Overview

Our client, a growing real estate franchisee, is seeking a highly skilled Controller / HR Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to wear two important hats—managing financial operations while also overseeing HR responsibilities. The Controller / HR Manager will play a key role in driving business performance by ensuring strong financial management and maintaining a positive, thriving workplace culture.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Controller / HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  
  

Cash Flow Management & Budgeting

• Manage the company’s cash flow and ensure optimal use of resources.
• Develop and implement annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial goals are met.
  
  

Employee Relations & Maintaining Culture

• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
• Act as the point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
• Promote and uphold the company’s values and culture across all departments.
  
  

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the HR and finance teams to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
• Support senior management with key decision-making by providing data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive efficiency and growth.

As the Controller / HR Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping both the financial health and the organizational culture of the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller or HR Manager, ideally within a real estate or franchise environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and budgeting.
• Experience in employee relations, HR best practices, and maintaining corporate culture.
