CFS has partnered with a local Non-Profit who is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial functions, while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and donor requirements. This position will report to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer.

- Oversee general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, benefits, and grant spending.
- Supervise Finance Assistant handling cash receipts, AP, payroll reporting, and journal entries.
- Process bi-monthly payroll, ensuring accurate benefit withholdings and compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Monitor grant expenditures, assist in budget proposals, and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Support audits and liaise with benefit and office vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage a plus), Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
