Key Responsibilities Of Senior Accountant
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Multi entity and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation.
- Develop and improve internal accounting processes and controls.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a family office, private company, or professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite )
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with supervising or mentoring junior staff.
