We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Reporting Analyst to join our healthcare organization. This fully remote role ensures compliance and accuracy in Medicaid and Medicare cost reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate Medicare and Medicaid cost reports in compliance with regulations.
- Analyze financial data to ensure proper cost allocation and adherence to reimbursement methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect necessary data and meet reporting deadlines.
- Stay updated on Medicare and Medicaid policy changes to ensure continued compliance.
- Support audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of Medicaid and Medicare experience in a healthcare setting, including 3 years in cost reporting.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, cost allocation methodologies, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of federal and state Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations.
