Staff Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. Our ideal candidate has prior experience or a desire to work for a manufacturing organization. We offer flexibility to work from home on a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation.
• Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Track inventory costs and assist with cost accounting processes.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support external audits and internal control processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy in manufacturing operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
