We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is open due to a recent promotion within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead close process, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR functions and monitor cash flow.
- Audit & Compliance: Support audits, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Budgeting/Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts; monitor performance.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior accountants and review their work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- 3-7 years of accounting experience,
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
