We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a small but growing company in Kent, OH. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Prepare and maintain various financial reports.
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Assist with payroll processing and support payroll-related tasks.
- Help manage cash flow and assist with financial forecasting.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure financial accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or relevant experience.
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & Compensation:
- On-site position in Kent, OH.
- Salary is $60,000 to $65,000 based on experience.
