RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COLLECTIONS MANAGER
- Manage a team of 6–10 collection analysts for a large business segment
- Develop and execute collections strategies that reduce past-due balances.
- Produce executive reports, track key metrics, and drive accountability across teams.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Lead the successful implementation of collections and deduction tools, establishing best practices and SOPs.
- Partner with CFO, Finance Directors, and Sales Leaders to address collection issues and process deficiencies.
- Set performance targets and leverage data to optimize work prioritization and impact.
- Identify and implement process improvements to resolve root causes of delayed payments.
- Collaborate with internal AR teams to ensure best-in-class Order-to-Cash processes.
- Built and maintained strategic partnerships with key external customer stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE COLLECTIONS MANAGER:
- 6 years collections experience
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting or related preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
