We have an exciting opportunity in our Collections Department for a new Collections Manager.

As a Collections Manager, you will lead with these values, ensuring effective loan recovery while maintaining compliance and fostering a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the collections department, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight.
- Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize losses and maximize recovery.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FDCPA, FCRA, Fannie Mae).
- Monitor and assess delinquent accounts, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee asset repossessions and charge-offs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports, analyzing key collection metrics.
- Enhance member relationships, balancing recovery efforts with exceptional service.
- Oversee training and development to keep the collections team up to date on industry best practices.
- Identify high-potential employees, fostering career growth and succession planning.
- Leverage advanced collection technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of collections management experience, preferably in mortgage and consumer lending.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a track record of driving performance.
- Expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, and collections software/tools.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and risk management practices.
