Overview of the Director of Internal Audit Role :
The Director of Internal Audit will reform financial audits to assess compliance with technical accounting and financial reporting guidance
The Director of Internal Audit will assist to develop and execute test plans that asses the design and operating effectiveness of controls
The Director of Internal Audit will provide audit and liaison assistance to independent auditors in the performance of their external audits of financial statements
The Director of Internal Audit will research technical accounting as needed
The Director of Internal Audit will mentor, train and have a large team to supervise
Help prepare Audit Committee meeting materials
Use technology to improve the effectiveness of the audit function
Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Internal Audit Role :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5 years in public accounting and auditing leadership position
SOX / Operational audit objectives
Strong analytical and technical skills
Self-starter, with strong organizational skills, able to work independently and solution-oriented
Demonstrates motivation and teamwork in a dynamic, multi-cultural business environment.
