- The Company: Global publicly traded manufacturing company with over $1B in revenue specializing in advanced materials and composites manufacturing. They serve aerospace, paper manufacturing, and industrial processing.
- The Growth: Founded over 100 years ago, our client is the industry leader in their niche. Their Revenue and Adjusted EBITDA have increased year-over-year for the past 3 years.
- The Position: Support all aspects of the Company’s domestic tax function, including compliance and returns, sales and use tax management, acquisitions and integrations, provisions and financial statement disclosures, and other ad-hoc tax projects.
- Assist with the domestic quarterly and annual tax provision and the preparation of income tax footnotes in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare U.S. Federal and State Return to Provision calculations
- Manage the preparation of the consolidated federal tax return and state and local tax returns to ensure accuracy in reporting
- Manage the sales and use tax compliance process, including the management of sales and use tax audits
- Manage and coordinate all US federal and state income tax audits
- Prepare Federal partnership tax return and corresponding workpapers
- Review Federal & State quarterly income tax estimates and extension
- Manage / Review state tax notices and all state tax correspondence
- Continuously monitor and identify tax law and accounting changes that have an impact on the company.
- Supervise and mentor a direct report
- CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience, ideally in a multinational public company’s global tax department.
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP tax accounting (ASC 740) and SOX 404 compliance for multinational corporations.
- Extensive experience with U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance in a global structure, including return reviews, audit defense, planning, and risk mitigation.
- Experience with indirect tax (sales & use tax)
- Experience serving in a role supervising at least one direct report
- Strong interpersonal skills

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
