Responsibilities For The Tax Manager Include
- Assist with the domestic quarterly and annual tax provision and the preparation of income tax footnotes in compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare U.S. Federal and State Return to Provision calculations.
- Manage the preparation of consolidated federal tax returns and state and local tax returns to ensure accurate reporting.
- Oversee the sales and use tax compliance process, including audits.
- Manage and coordinate all U.S. federal and state income tax audits.
- Prepare federal partnership tax returns and corresponding workpapers.
- Review federal and state quarterly income tax estimates and extensions.
- Handle state tax notices and all related correspondence.
- Monitor and identify tax law and accounting changes that may impact the company.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports.
- CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4 years of experience, preferably within a large public accounting firm or a multinational public company’s global tax department.
