A local public accounting firm is expanding their business and looking for a Tax Manager to take ownership of an expanding commercial client base. Clients are smaller to medium sized companies in the area. This position focuses on all aspects of business taxes and planning and requires someone with a CPA and relevant experience. Good company, manageable schedule and opportunity for growth.
Take ownership of and develop a commercial tax client portfolio and provide full service tax accounting
Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns for small businesses, provide tax planning, risk assessments, provide guidance on ways to minimize tax exposure, compliance and adherence to local, federal and multi-state tax laws.
Provide reporting, analysis and prepare state and federal tax returns.
Develop and manager staff, build relationships with clients and identify opportunities of growth.
Requirements
CPA, degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong corporate tax experience
Excellent communication and systems experience
Expert in local and federal tax
