We are working with a global manufacturing organization to find a Division Head of Accounting and Taxation. This company has a long history of success, offering excellent benefits including a 401K plan, pension, and various financial incentives.
This role reports directly to the VP and President and plays a key part in overseeing both accounting and taxation departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate accounting, income/franchise tax, and financial functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, federal, and state tax regulations
- Minimize corporate tax liabilities and provide financial information, tax research, and planning to top management for business decisions
- Oversee monthly financial statements analysis and reporting to top management
- Monitor performance of accounting and taxation departments and provide necessary training, improvement, or job arrangement among them
- FOLLOW up on accurate and timely filing of federal and state quarterly and annual tax returns
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in accounting and/or taxation
- BA or Master degree in accounting or taxation
- Mandarin speaking is an asset
