Position Summary :
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing the general ledger, conducting financial statement analytics, and implementing policies and tools to enhance automation and benchmarking. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic real estate environment, driving operational and financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform forensic account analysis on financial reporting, balance sheets, and related-party transactions.
- Maintain accounting integrity by preparing and reviewing journal entries.
- Oversee cash management and perform detailed bank reconciliations.
- Manage and consolidate financial data for accurate accounting at both the consolidated and unit levels.
- Assist in coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to streamline auditing processes.
- Provide vital financial insights to support management's decision-making.
- Oversee the budget process, including automation using MRI software.
- Supervise accounts payable, including credit card purchases, expense reports, and coding.
- Assess and recommend improvements for accounting operations and internal controls.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting software functionality to improve processes and automation.
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
- Support ad hoc projects as required.
