Senior Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent leadership and analytical skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including reconciliations, closings, and financial reporting. You will also be expected to mentor and develop junior accounting staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile operating and payroll bank accounts to the general ledger.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial schedules and Excel spreadsheets for audits and inquiries.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Exceptional Excel skills (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
