Financial Analyst
This role is responsible for supporting the Finance team in Region Americas. The Financial Analyst will assist with operational requirements, such as preparing and analyzing overhead dashboards, performing product costing analysis, and supporting the Global Product Management team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, and identify trends.
- Investigate operational and financial results and make recommendations for improvements.
- Perform monthly product costing variance analysis.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators by product category, establishing benchmarks and performance targets related to Sales, product costs, and Gross Margins.
- Perform monthly price volume mix analysis for key product categories.
- Build and maintain dashboards that give visibility to product-level performance.
- Educate collaborators across the company to improve understanding of performance metrics and dashboards.
- Own databases and ensure data integrity in all reporting tools and systems.
- Assist in reporting metrics and results for the Region to corporate headquarters using consolidation software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or Business.
- Knowledge of business and financial principles.
- Experience working in Oracle/SAP/M3 (or other major ERP package).
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
