What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Creative Home and Kitchen?
Duties :
Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
Coordination and preparation of shipping materials and paperwork such as BOLs, packing lists, labels, etc.
Stay up to date and apply supplier requirements.
Managing all aspects of routing and carrier activity to ensure on time dispatching and deliveries.
Conduct research to resolve any issues involving freight shortages, invoicing discrepancies, missing / damaged shipments.
Work with 3PLs to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Identify areas for cost optimization in the logistics department.
Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for transportation services
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and conduct regular audits
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of logistics processes
EDI Truecommerce management (ASNs, acknowledgements, invoicing, etc)
Order processing using NetSuite
Qualifications :
Must have legal US status for employment.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Bachelor’s Degree in any Business field preferred, or 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Extremely organized & attentive to detail. This is probably the most important thing.
Be a pro at email communications and asynchronous communication.
Excel experience is required. Our interest is not so much in how many Excel formulas you have memorized, but rather that you are proficient at searching for Excel solutions. Basics like Pivot tables, xlookup, conditional formatting, etc are everyday tools for this position.
Knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
Experience with EDI highly preferred. Especially Truecommerce.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, move objects and sit. The employee is occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 60 pounds.

You are not very organized or have a keen eye for details.
You are not good at giving and taking constructive criticisms without it being personal.
