What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Room Teacher position at Creative Learning Childcare Center?
We are seeking a Full-time Infant Room Teacher to join our team. The Infant Room Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting. Infant Teachers must have knowledge of child development and be able to create age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. They must also communicate effectively with parents and be able to assess and report on each child’s progress.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for infants, ensuring their well-being and development.
- Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including bottle feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood learning.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education and infant care
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong background in childcare and Infant care
- Classroom management skills and experience working in daycare settings
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development
