Infant Room Assistant Teacher

Our Redeemer Christian Children’s center is a well-established, Christian early learning center with a family feel. We focus on helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically and in their faith walk. We are nationally accredited and use creative curriculum where children learn through play as well as the Nurtured Heart Approach for classroom management. We have an infant program, toddler program, pre-k program, a school-age program and a preschool that runs from September-May. We offer a fun and positive work environment with great co-workers.

We are currently looking to hire multiple infant teachers who are assistant qualified. We are looking for full-time teachers, Monday-Friday, hours can be anywhere between 6:45am-5:45pm. You would support a lead teacher in one of our three infant rooms with kiddos ranging from 6 weeks to 16 months. Some of the tasks that are expected but not limited to:

• Supporting planned activities that engage the children
• Developing relationships with the children
• Ongoing Professional Development

Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate credential OR Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience OR A similar mix of education and experience. With valid experience, may obtain CDA credential while working in classroom.
• Be CPR/First Aid certified (or be willing to get certified)
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum, TS Gold and Nurtured Heart are a bonus, but not needed.
• Be ambitious, fun loving and have a caring attitude towards children to ensure the best care for our families.
