Perform maintenance activities in Industrial Setting, including the maintenance, repair and installation of molding equipment; other general maintenance assignments as needed.

Perform maintenance activities in Industrial Setting, including the maintenance, repair and installation of molding equipment; other general maintenance assignments as needed.
Minimum Responsibilities
- Perform standard maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment in facility.
- Maintain log of all maintenance activities, to be updated daily.
- Communicate across shifts to keep supervisor, manager, and other maintenance technicians aware of any problems and/or resolutions to any complications incurred.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, and troubleshooting necessary.
- Must have general knowledge of electrical, machine, and hydraulic prints.
- Knowledge of electrical installation and control voltages, as well as plumbing.
- General knowledge of vacuum pumps and material systems.
- Must have own tools.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, cost savings and quality of product.
- Observe and comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations associated with this job.
- Aids supervisor in identifying training needs. Attends and participates in all scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position.
- Conducts housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
- The noise level is moderately loud. The work environment may include wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold or heat (not weather related). The temperature is generally warm and may be hot during hot, humid summer months. Frequent exposure to vibration, moving mechanical parts and electrical shock. Work conditions require personal protective equipment of safety glasses and steel toe boots. All employees are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
