What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Manager position at Creative Liquid Coatings?
SUMMARY
Performs strategic tasks to ensure IQMS inventory is accurate and reliable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Champion of inventory accuracy.
· Prepare inventory cycle count processes and reports.
· Investigates, documents, and obtains the applicable approvals for inventory adjustments.
· Leads the Physical Inventory process and submits the applicable reports to the management team.
· Ensures IQMS data – balance on hand, negatives, scrap reporting, customer returns and intercompany transfers are completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
· Implements and audits inventory control procedures.
· Perform tasks as required for customer/supplier inventory reconciliations.
· Investigation of variances to determine root cause and provide solutions.
· Develop process improvements to achieve inventory accuracy goals.
· Keep records for all counts and adjustments.
· Responsible for other counts like for dunnage.
· Responsible to protect own health and safety by working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures.
· Communicates effectively with co-workers and manufacturing personnel at all levels of the organization.
· Complies with all Health and Safety programs in accordance with OSHA.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
