The Quality Director will oversee compliance with industry standards such as TS16949 and drive initiatives to improve quality performance at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain high standards for quality, reliability, and safety across the company’s operations.
- Lead and oversee APQP/PPAP activities, ensuring compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance systems and procedures across all production departments.
- Lead and manage the Quality Department, including Quality Managers, Engineers, Auditors, and Technicians.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
- Act as the liaison between the company, customers, and suppliers regarding quality matters.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees.
- Lead TS16949 initiatives, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Implement problem-solving techniques and statistical methods to improve product quality.
- Review and revise standard operational practices to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor process capabilities and identify opportunities for process improvements using statistical tools.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering or related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality management.
- Experience: 5 years in quality management or related roles within the automotive, manufacturing, or plastics processing industries.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in APQP/PPAP, TS16949, and other industry quality standards.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), GD&T, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions.
- Ability to write clear reports and business correspondence.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations, if needed.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, as needed.
- The position will be based in both office and manufacturing environments with low to moderate noise levels.
