As a Direct Support Professional at Creative Living Options, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
- Assist clients in achieving their personal goals through tailored support and encouragement.
- Implement care plans and monitor progress towards individual objectives.
- Promote resident rights and advocate for the needs of clients within the community.
- Facilitate social interactions and community involvement opportunities for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and advocacy principles.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
