Job Summary
As a Care Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist physical therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide basic care and assistance to patients as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
