Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in daily living activities.
- Help clients develop life skills that promote independence and self-sufficiency.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
- Assist with meal preparation, including cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual needs.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all health standards are met.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of clients.
