Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Creative Living Options. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them to live as independently as possible while fostering their personal growth and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities.
- Monitor clients' progress and provide feedback to the care team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and other support staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to develop and implement care plans effectively.
- Knowledge of home health practices and community resources is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, patient, and dedicated to enhancing the lives of others.
