What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Manager position at Creative Pathways, Inc.?
Clinical Supervisor/Manager Clinical Manager will directly supervise staff members in the assigned program area(s). Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable regulatory mandates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; developing subordinates’ skills and encouraging growth; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university and current license to practice ( LICSW, LPC) in District of Columbia and must be a Board Registered/Approved Supervisor. At least five years post-masters paid experience with at least two years providing supervision (Preferred).
- Must possess valid clinical licensure and two years experience post licensure providing clinical supervision to staff
- Minimum of five years supervisory experience working in a community mental health or dual diagnosis program
- Understanding and ability to implement theories of biological, psychological, and social development
- This includes, but is not limited to, an understanding of human behavior and psychopathology, human diversity, interpersonal relationships and family dynamics, mental disorders, stress, and chemical dependency
- Familiarity with the current DSM
- Must be able to apply clinical judgment, ethics and accountability to formulate best practices in quality of care
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
