Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education to residents and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques. Additionally, you will conduct skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology, current ASHA Certification, and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
