Join Our Team as a Payroll Director
We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Payroll Director to lead our growing payroll team!
Your Impact as a Payroll Director:
In this role, you will:
- Manage all aspects of the payroll, such as establishing appropriate checks and balances to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy
- Generate reports for the general ledger and reconciliation, and oversees the administration of payment for wages, bonuses, commissions, and other company benefits.
- Work closely with the accounting department to ensure proper reconciliation, with the tax department to ensure proper payroll tax compliance, and with the human resource department to ensure accurate benefit processing.
- Work with the payroll provider to solve payroll issues, glitches and to ensure the system runs effectively.
- Actively maintain and update employee wage garnishments in the payroll system.
- Critically review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
- Resolve issues by providing analysis and corrective action for all non-routine situations
- Responsible for review and approval of certified payrolls for prevailing wage construction jobs
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
- Has A MINIMUM of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Recent payroll director experience.
- Ability and past record of overseeing payroll functions for 10,000 employees or more.
- Past Director level with a mid-size to large company.
- Ability to manage complete processes of payroll and HRIS system.
- Must have multi-site experience (we currently have 160 locations and growing!)
- Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline oriented and disciplined.
- Prompt with deadlines and reportings.
- Healthcare/Senior Care experience a plus.
