Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Per Diem (PRN) Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals at The Arbors Healthcare and Rehab Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered care to our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve cognition or swallowing.
• Providing education to residents and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
• Conducting skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments.
• Developing and implementing augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Training and educating clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborating with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
