Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced tutor for core curriculum subjects K-12 for students/families in the Monterey/Carmel areas. Math, Language Arts, Social Sciences a plus. Tutoring to take place at the students home. Some weekday/daytime tutoring required. If qualified, meet the requirements and are available immediately, please apply based on the criteria below.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in person. No Online only tutoring for this position/student.
- Skilled tutoring
- Ability to simplify concepts
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with K-12 students.
- Versed in core curriculum subjects as needed
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain goals and concepts clearly.
- Simplify concepts and be adaptable for different learning styles.
- Basic technical skills for writing student progress/session notes on our tutor platform.

Our tutor rate is $32/hour for In-Home OR Online tutoring.
