What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSS Graduate Student Clinical Externship position at Creative Speech Solutions?
CSS will provide Graduate Student Externs with an opportunity to extend their academic education with clinical training outside of their graduate school setting and aim to give participants practical experiences in their field of study. We believe that externships are an essential component of graduate education in speech-language pathology and therefore supply a clinical practice externship that is not only the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge acquired in academic courses; it is the training ground for mastering the full skill set required for clinical practice and/or school based setting including interpersonal communication, writing skills, professional conduct, behavior management, and evidence-based practice, as well as business-related aspects of speech-language pathology such as billing and reimbursement.
Overall we offer students the ability to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to work with a variety of populations and disorders in various settings under direct supervision.

- Complete all forms and evaluations requested by CSS and/or the academic institution.
