Job Summary:
Oversee Inventory Control team, ensuring inventory accuracy through reporting, system inputs, reconciliations, and audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities Of The Position
- Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies, and developing solutions to enhance upstream operational success
- Lead scrap reporting, driving ownership and action items
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support company goals
- Provide process direction by developing process vision, strategy, and objectives
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, ensuring process adoption and execution
- Responsible for management, training, and development of Inventory Control team
- Collaborate with manufacturing team to optimize workflow
- Work in ERP system, as well as EDI and SAP, to report and investigate daily consumption
- Enforce company rules regarding food safety, discipline, and regulations
- Participate in GMP walks
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Analytical, process driven thinker, and problem solver
- Flexibility in operational style to meet the requirements of multi-cultural workplace
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to fast paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Ability to travel between Elk Grove Village & Bartlett facilities
- Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
- This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business
