ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER

We are hiring a full time Assistant Program Manager for our Intermittent Home Supports program and temp relief pool.
Intermittent Home Supports provides assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities living in Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Biddeford, Saco, Kennebunk, North Berwick, and York.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing Intermittent Home Supports Services for the York and Cumberland regions. This includes supervision of staff, oversight of programming and ensuring compliance with all state and agency standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure daily operations in the program is running smoothly.
Participate in Management Meetings as applicable and provide regular feedback at the staff/team meetings.
Assists Residential Manager with the program budget. This includes monitoring the budget and making recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year.
Complete all necessary billing and submit to Business Office in a timely manner. Review for accuracy prior to submittal and verify all information is accurate before receipt by Business Office.
Provide oversight to and provide coordination of annual planning documentation and all meetings associated with the annual planning process. Ensure all information is completed in a timely manner and forwarded to the Planning Coordinator.
Provide ongoing training for Direct Support Professionals to promote continued professional development.
Coordinate regular meetings with staff and participate in monthly staff meetings to promote positive communications and team building activities.
Transporting clients for social enrichment, doctor’s appointments or as requested.
Assist Residential Manager with monitoring the Temp Relief pool.
Support daily interactions between participants and staff; provide both positive and developmental feedback.
Train new staff in all areas including individual plans, personal care requirements in the programs, and performance expectations.
Assist Residential Manager with scheduling service planning meetings for the individuals in the program, coordinating with the guardians and case managers around the planning meetings, and writing the plan.
Fully understands all aspects of participants’ rights and is responsible for promptly reporting any evidence of abuse or violation of participants’ rights.
Conduct and facilitate team meetings and ensure that open communication is maintained with the Intermittent Home Supports staff and address any and all concerns immediately.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with all participants, CW team members, family members, guardians, case workers, medical providers for Participants, and other stakeholders.
Complete all necessary reports and submit (when appropriate) to Business Office in a timely manner.
Is on-call for issues that arise in the program
Participates in the residential weekend on-call rotation.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure staff are complying with CW polices.
Review required trainings with staff to assist with monitoring compliance with required training.
Outreach to community resources to enhance programs.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL WORK TOLERANCES:
Ability to do standing/sedentary tasks for long periods of time.
Ability to perform range of motion tasks, including but not limited to reaching, bending, stretching, stooping and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (all personnel are trained in correct lifting procedures).
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Valid US Driver’s License.
Satisfactory driving record per agency’s insurance company standards.
Direct Support experience preferred.
B.A. Degree preferred.
Previous experience managing services/programs.
Direct supervisory experience.
Must have or be willing to obtain the following: DSP, CRMA.
All required trainings must be completed within four months of hiring date.
