What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Childcare Teacher position at Creative World School?
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum and activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
Skills:
- Experience working with young students in a classroom setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to educate and engage students in various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and physical education
- Understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs
- Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
