Creature Control is hiring a Preventative Wildlife Control Salesman. Wildlife control experience is not completely necessary but the ideal candidate should have some sort of background in at least the construction or trades industry, paired with some sales components of those or similar types of trades.
Detailed Job Description:
The Preventative Wildlife Control Salesman is responsible for carrying out complex inspections on an array of residential and commercial strucutres. Overall physical capabilities of the individual should include being in relative good health along with a degree of agility. The ideal candidate will not have a problem with heights, handling 24' and 32' ladders, or maneuvering along rooftops.
The Preventative Widlife Control Salesman is expected to inspect attics, rooftops, crawlspaces, and basements on a regular basis. Proper assessments of the immediate issues are to be completed, along with the creation of proposals to not only correct the issue at hand, but to also be able to promote preventative or additional services while instilling value within a professional, honest, and friendly approach.
Position Duties:
- Provide wildlife control services with a professional, friendly, courteous, and kind attitude
- Drive and operate a company vehicle to customer sites
- Identify wildlife issues, conduct inspections, and develop management strategy solutions for wildlife control in compliance with state, industry, and company standards
- Enhance knowledge by participating in training opportunities
- Meet requirements for licensing and safety regulations
- Maintain tool inventory, equipment, and other necessary materials
- Exhibit excellent communicaiton and documentation skills.

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a decent driving record
- Career-oriented, long-term focused
- Be personable, have good verbal and writing skills, and have good personal hygiene
- Able to problem solve and maintain well-organized records
- Be an outdoor enthusiast and not be squeamish when working with animals or insects
- Have the agility, physical fitness, and capability to regularly maintain moderate physical activity levels throughout the day, including moving extension ladders
- Not be afraid of heights
- Be mechanically inclined and good at working with tools
- Work extended hours (sometimes weekends)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
