Purpose :
The Director of Technology and Platform Innovation provides vision and operational oversight for the Company's technology and infrastructure strategies. This role will lead all IT functions, including maintaining and optimizing existing systems, improving employee and client engagement, developing business intelligence systems, and spearheading the implementation of innovative solutions to meet departmental needs. This role collaborates closely with the leadership team, ensuring that IT initiatives align effectively with the organization's overarching strategies, spanning short- and long-term goals. The Director of Technology and Platform Innovation plays a pivotal role in employing technology to elevate engagement, commercial strategies, organizational efficiency, agility, and competitiveness within a fast-paced business environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Analyze business needs to lead, develop, and implement IT initiatives that enable the Company to achieve corporate strategic objectives
- Use business acumen to provide technology-leveraged solutions to various departments and stakeholders
- Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to drive strategic technology investments and innovative initiatives to reduce manual efforts and costs
- Develop a team focused on delivering business value across multiple disciplines
- Develop options and plan for future changes to the IT infrastructure to address potential business needs and / or regulatory requirements
- Oversee overall architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing systems and services
- Collaborate with senior executives to lead the IT Steering Committee on a recurring basis
- Establish strong partner relationships and collaboration across business and technology areas
- Establish and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for IT performance relative to cost, value creation, user and client satisfaction, etc.
- Ensure best practices to facilitate the scalability of IT service management and fortify cybersecurity protocols
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with business requirements and service level agreements
- Develop, communicate, and enforce IT and security policies and procedures to ensure governance, consistency in standards, and ability to leverage common systems and tools
- Build a continuous improvement culture and process where team members proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the processes and applications to drive efficiency
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience : Minimum of 10 years related experience
