Purpose :
The Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing key cross-functional projects to achieve the Company's short-term and long-term objectives. The Project Manager will support and collaborate with assigned project teams in requirements development, planning, and execution. Utilizing appropriate project management methodologies, this role will define, create, coordinate, and monitor project plans to ensure appropriate progress and desired outcomes are achieved. The Project Manager must be highly adaptable with a strong ability to multi-task in a faced-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operate with a client-first mentality while providing an appropriate level of support to the team and stakeholders
- Establish clear project scope and objectives by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, set deliverables, and outline success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities
- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours / resources, and budgets
- Clearly communicate and clarify project purpose, goals, and expectations
- Leverage project management / process improvement concepts and tools to build upon the current project management and change management core processes. Maintain documentation for training purposes and best practices.
- Regularly review and share project metrics and timelines to ensure appropriate progress, especially related to longer-term projects / initiatives
- Provide leadership for implementation of process changes by working with various teams - driving change management and issue resolution
- Organize and lead stakeholder meetings, including providing updates and soliciting input for changes to processes and procedures
- Coordinate and balance multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
- Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Remain knowledgeable in the policies and regulations of the regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all work activities
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information
- Work with all other team members in a way that is conducive with the mission, values, and beliefs of the company to provide service beyond expectations
