This is an exciting new opportunity for an EDGE Early Career Associate at Capital Group:
As an IT Early Career Associate within the EDGE program, this role will be part of the Client Experience Team, working as a Solutions Engineer. The selected candidate will contribute to delivering products and services while learning from domain experts and participating in impactful projects across various disciplines. This position also offers an engaging cohort experience focused on professional development, networking, and social events throughout the first year at Capital Group. Additionally, the role provides opportunities to learn directly from leaders through a speaker series, tackle complex business problems during sprint challenges, and engage in activities designed to strengthen technical skills and business acumen.
The individual in this role will receive strong support and gain insights into how information technology enhances Capital Group’s ability to provide best-in-class technology platforms for internal customers. They will also develop a deeper understanding of how the Capital System has consistently delivered superior results over time.

Solve problems through rigorous analysis.
Collaborate within an inclusive and agile team environment.
Conduct system analysis while working closely with business and technical teams.
Work with industry-leading technologies.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2025.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies/languages: React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, Java basics.
Interest in expanding knowledge in technology, finance, and Cloud.
Basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with others.
Willingness to embrace new challenges with a continuous learning mindset.
A solution-driven approach with accountability for results and the ability to articulate thought processes.
A highly collaborative nature with a willingness to share insights and perspectives.
Compensation
Orange County base salary range: $81,000 - $130,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, eligible employees may receive an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with a 15% employer contribution to eligible earnings.
