As a Senior Business Development Manager at Credit.com, you will be a key member of our Partnership Team, focusing on targeting, launching, and managing new clients within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong digital marketing, customer acquisition, and the metrics essential for delivering successful new customer acquisition programs, with a specific focus on email marketing. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in consultative sales, business development, performance marketing and lead generation.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of partnership opportunities, leading contract negotiations, participating in account onboarding and marketing campaign launches, and serving as the primary point of contact for your assigned portfolio.
Must be currently located in Arizona, California, Idaho, Florida or Utah.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business partnership opportunities within large financial services companies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Act as the day-to-day contact for your assigned book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
- 5-7 years of business development experience, ideally within the performance marketing and lead generation industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, specifically email marketing with hands-on marketing campaign experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills.
Location Requirements:
- Residing in Arizona, California, Idaho, Florida, or Utah.
- If located in CA, AZ, FL, or ID: Willingness to travel to our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters at least once per quarter or as needed.
- If residing in the greater Salt Lake City metro area: Ability to work in a hybrid model with three days a week onsite at our downtown Salt Lake City headquarters.
