Summary of duties
- Position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the payment processing department.
- Ensure that all functions in the Payment Processing Department are completed in a timely manner and according to policies and procedures
- Monitor department’s productivity to ensure that standards are met
- Conduct verification and edits of electronic file transfers
- Perform requested payment research to include research of overpayments, misapplied or unidentified payments and non-sufficient funds
- Ensure that all auditing (SAS 70) requirements are met
- Facilitate weekly meetings with staff to motivate, inform and listen to employee concerns
- Handle special projects as assigned by management
Skills Required
- Excellent data entry skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to meet time deadlines while working under pressure.
- Ability to handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Good business writing and accounting skills.
- Excellent business math skills.
- Excellent follow-up skills.
Experience Required
- Five or more years of related experience in the financial field
- Three or more years of management/supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in cash management and payment processing
- Management in a Collection environment experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with ARTIVA preferred
Pay Rate:
$55,000 - $60,000
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
