What are the responsibilities and job description for the Management Accounting Specialist position at Credit Human?
We are seeking an Accounting Management Specialist for the Accounting Department.
The purpose of this role is to provide accounting services to internal constituents related to management reporting and system administration. This role is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reports to the Credit Human Management team. This includes providing assistance to managers in understanding the information contained in the reports and researching transactions affecting departmental financial reports. This role also provides technical assistance to users of the financial reports. This role also performs activities related to accounting for fixed assets, leases, accounts payable, call reports, and allowances for loan loss.

Assist in Accounts Payable related tasks
- Perform accounting processes relating to Fixed Assets and Lease in addition to administration over Fixed Assets and Lease systems
- Assist with the month end closing process, preparation of monthly reports, account analysis, and account reconciliations
- Assist with the quarterly preparation and submission of NCUA compliance reports
- Provide processing support to other areas of the Accounting Department as needed
Experience:
Required
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Education:
Required
- Accounting college level coursework
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) with peers and management
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Access
- Good organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities based upon changing needs of the organization.
- Ability to meet deadlines
