What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Operations Manager position at Credit Karma?
The BizOps team plays a pivotal role in this mission and solves some of Credit Karma's most important business problems. BizOps leads are embedded within our organization and collaborate with a cross-functional team to lead strategic initiatives that have a direct impact on our business. We drive operational discipline and clarity on performance to make Credit Karma successful at achieving our objectives. We are a team of highly-collaborative individuals that strive to enable financial progress for all of our members.
We’re looking for a Manager to help incubate our newly formed Corporate BizOps function.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a thought partner and sounding board to our leaders to help them drive data-driven decisions, with a focus on new to Credit Karma strategic explorations
- Lead strategic projects and operationalize them to move the business forward
- Manage key deliverables for the Executive Committee and company leadership, specifically focused on materials that take a comprehensive view on our entire business (eg monthly business reviews, Board materials, investor materials, product strategy)
- Identify opportunities to leverage the platform, other verticals, strategic partnerships and acquisitions to grow the business
- Collaborate with the team and leverage data to inform, develop, and iterate on business strategy

Minimum Basic Requirement:
- 5 years of total work experience, 2 years of which in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, corporate strategy or finance
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical chops and ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
- Executive presence with the ability to develop a strong point of view on strategic priorities based on internal and external data
- Excels in ambiguous environments: an ability to drive complex projects and develop processes with minimal guidance and oversight
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate, present and debate recommendations with all levels of management
- Proactive and passionate self-starting general athlete with bias towards action and constant prioritization
- Strong preference for background in management consulting or related field
- Prior experience in financial services, payments or financial technology
- MBA preferred
