Credit Karma aims to engage with its members through a best in class email and push notification experience. As the business and member base grows the notifications ecosystem has become more advanced and complex. To ensure the channel is a long term driver of business growth it is critical to centralize key technical operations, planning, coordination, and communication. The program manager for the notifications channel provides that centralizing function to unlock channel improvement and marketing efficiency.
You’ll partner closely with marketing and product leadership on goal setting, roadmap execution, project reporting, risk management, and team productivity. You’ll be responsible for ensuring alignment across many cross functional teams including Growth Marketing, Growth Technology, Analytics, Product, Engineering and others to support the successful execution of integrated marketing efforts. You excel at building relationships, establishing good communication channels, streamlining processes, and eliminating ambiguity from goals and project plans.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with channel stakeholders to identify and prioritize process and tooling improvements to drive efficiencies
- Engage and influence stakeholders to ensure teams work together in creating challenging objectives. Create timelines to ensure realistic execution.
- Increase collaboration and communication across functions and improve visibility into cross-team dependencies. Anticipate change and own the tracking and coordination.
- Identify, own, escalate and communicate risk in projects/programs early and proactively work to mitigate and resolve.
- Identify root causes to ongoing issues, Implement new efficient processes and make high-value improvements to existing processes that impact multiple teams
- Own notification author onboarding and operationalize documentation & best practices across verticals
- Manage incident impact and remediation communications process
- Own change management for the stories channel, including data migrations, product enhancements, feature rollouts, quarterly planning, and incident resolution
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience working with marketing, product, or engineering teams in a cross-functional, collaborative capacity (preferably at a tech company).
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience managing multiple projects across multiple teams with a variety of individuals (at least 3 teams and 20 individuals).

- Experience developing templates, processes, and workflows with a passion for systems and processes that are effective and run efficiently.
- Comfortable with ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Self starter with a bias towards taking action to get the job done.
- Critical and data driven thinker who will challenge that we are doing things right.
- Excellent communication, coaching and organization skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Actively seeks feedback always looking to improve - someone with a growth mindset
- Knows various frameworks such as agile, scrum, kanban, etc. and the most effective implementation for various circumstances
- Ability to quickly gain a high level understanding of technical systems
