MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Serves as primary source of information on membership requirements, services, rights and potentials for membership in the credit union. Assists others in updating and maintenance of membership-related information to be disbursed to members and prospective members.
Opens new member accounts; verifies availability of funds. Handles inquiries of member balances, orders share drafts, places stop payments on drafts, updates member accounts, assists with the transactions for processing, handles adjustments and transfers on member accounts when practical, ACH affidavits, assists with safe deposit box. Greets and assists debit card members. Provides Notary Service to members. Performs related member service duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate; must have good public relations skills and be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing, with members and employees. Must have excellent personal computer skills and may be required to demonstrate those skills. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Must be a self-motivated individual and be able to work well with minimum supervision.
