Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision machining team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming Swiss-style and other CNC multi-axis lathes (primarily Tsugami, Emco, Star, DMG) to manufacture high-precision metal components.
Responsibilities
- Program Swiss-style and other multi-axis CNC lathes (mainly Tsugami, Emco, Star, DMG)
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding solutions
- Perform test runs and make adjustments to ensure accurate machining processes
- Work closely with setup technicians and machinists to troubleshoot and optimize production
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance cycle times and part quality
- Maintain organized records of programs and machining processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of CNC lathe & Swiss machine programming experience (Tsugami preferred)
- Strong proficiency in G-code programming and CAD/CAM software
- In-depth knowledge of Swiss-style CNC lathe operations and machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Experience optimizing tool paths and machining strategies for efficiency
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine processes

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays available (optional)
- Shift times may vary depending on workload
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 47.5 per week
