Overview :

The LMS Technical Assistant at Creek Technologies will work closely with instructors to manage LMS requirements for their courses and address student issues, primarily during the first few days of resident courses. This role requires a Secret or Interim Secret Clearance and eligibility for a government computer account. The position may include remote work as authorized by the contractor Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage LMS (Blackboard) requirements for courses, ensuring smooth operation and content delivery.
  • Address student issues and technical challenges during the initial days of resident courses.
  • Coordinate with instructors and assist with technical troubleshooting related to course materials and the LMS.
  • Maintain eligibility for a government computer account and CAC (Common Access Card).

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Proficiency in Blackboard administration (version 9) and familiarity with its tools and features.
  • At least four years of experience in LMS administration, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong experience providing customer technical assistance and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Solid familiarity with multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop), Adobe Captivate, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Education & Certification :

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Blackboard administration or a related LMS platform is a plus.
  • At least four years of experience in LMS administration, including customer support and troubleshooting.
  • Secret or Interim Secret Clearance and eligibility for a government computer account are required.
