Position Overview :
Creek Technologies is in search for a System Administrator - Level IV is a senior-level role responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. This individual will ensure the integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms, manage system backups, performance monitoring, and capacity analysis, and maintain the security posture of infrastructure systems. The role involves managing day-to-day operational tasks and supporting high-availability systems, including critical telecommunications systems in healthcare and military environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure Management : Administer and sustain server operating systems and related infrastructure software / hardware. Monitor performance, ensure system integrity, and maintain availability of systems.
- Security & Maintenance : Perform regular system backups, security updates, and platform maintenance to ensure systems meet operational and security standards. Conduct capacity analysis and implement upgrades as needed.
- Documentation : Create and maintain standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation for operational upkeep.
- Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Assist with the evaluation and testing of infrastructure hardware / software.
- Leadership & Coordination : Act as the on-site lead for contractors, ensuring administrative duties such as timekeeping and reporting are properly filed according to contract policy. Lead and coordinate technical efforts in day-to-day operations and long-term projects.
- Critical Communication Systems : Provide support for critical telecommunications systems such as nurse call systems, middleware transport, pocket pagers, and public address systems, ensuring effective intra-communication for urgent and emergent staff within healthcare environments.
