JOB SUMMARY :
The Warehouse Receiving Operator is responsible for supporting the Warehouse functions by receiving and transporting incoming materials efficiently. This individual is expected to work closely with the Warehouse Team and follow all processes using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Unloading of delivered purchased goods inventory using a gas or electric lift truck
- Record delivered goods in the Receiving Verification Log
- Bring delivered materials to the Stock Room
- Deliver packages and supplies to office personnel as needed
- Load and unload storage transfer trailers
- Unload trailers to support Operations packaging requirements
- Inform Purchasing Manager of any current or potential issues
- Daily housekeeping of Receiving Dock area
- 5S” implementation with focus on visual order, organization, cleanliness, and standardization
- Assist with the annual cycle count
- Receive daily UPS / FedEx when Inventory Control Assistant is out of the office
- All other duties that support the Warehouse as assigned by Warehouse Manager
